Saint Louis Counseling provides services to everyone…PERIOD!
It’s OK to ask for help, because we weren’t made to do this alone. Everyone battles with stresses in life. You could be an individual feeling isolated and confused or a couple in conflict, a parent arguing with a child or employees mourning the loss of a coworker. At some point in our life, we could all use a little help. We provide professional counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly in various settings, including eight offices throughout the St. Louis area. Our clinicians are skilled in providing individual, couples, marital, as well as family and group therapy. Life isn’t always easy, but it can be better with a little help.
Being a kid in school these days isn’t easy. As adults, we remember how hard it was when we were kids, when the biggest concern was someone offering you a cigarette or a fight over a girl. Now kids deal with sexual situations, drugs, bullying, and even fear for their own life. Our program is designed to assist students from kindergarten through 12th grade who are attending parochial, private, and public schools. We are the leading provider of school-specific services based on the philosophy that the school, family, and community are partners in educating our children, strengthening families, and building stronger, safer communities.
Do you hear conversations at work about what’s going on in people’s lives. Are they stressed out? Do they spend time thinking about how they are going to get dinner cooked and all three kids to different activities, or how the company had to add security cameras so everyone is safe or how the person three cubes down is impossible to work with! These are all REAL-LIFE situations, and left unchecked, can begin to wear down employees, cause conflict, increase employee turnover or worse. Saint Louis Counseling provides an opportunity for companies to create a path of overall wellness for employees, which creates the opportunity for increased performance.
Saint Louis Counseling trains a wide range of professionals and businesses on topics such as trauma-informed care, self-care, parenting, conflict management, etc. Schedule a meeting with a member of the leadership team to explore the components of a custom training program that will allow you and your employees the ability to put your best foot forward, communicate effectively, and handle any situation with finesse and skill. It’s a chance to not only develop desirable business skills, but skills that can give a person the added benefit of boosting one’s self-confidence. Whatever your situation, there’s a workshop designed to provide you with the powerful, confident and assertive skills guaranteed to get careers and attitudes moving in the right direction.

The recent loss of former football standout Kyren Lacy deeply saddens Catholic Charities and our ministry, Saint Louis Counseling. His passing is a painful reminder that no matter how “successful” someone appears on the outside, the internal struggle can be very real and hidden.
