Kelly DeGeare, LCSW
Kelly earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Missouri State University in 2008 and her Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri St. Louis in 2013. She obtained her Licensed Clinical Social Worker credential in 2017 and now provides supervision to MSW candidates working toward licensure.
Kelly is proficient in multiple therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. She takes an eclectic approach, thoughtfully tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of each individual.
She works with children, families, adults, and couples, supporting clients through mood disorders, grief, behavioral concerns, and trauma. Her treatment approach is strength based and grounded in a person in environment perspective.
In addition to her clinical work, Kelly is a trained facilitator of Parenting the Love and Logic Way and Mental Health First Aid. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
