Michael Molohon, PLPC

Michael Jason Molohon is a Licensed School Counselor in Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana, and a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, and his Master’s in School Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana.

After 12 years as a school guidance counselor, Michael transitioned into clinical mental health counseling. He now primarily serves children, adolescents, and students, while also supporting parents, caregivers, guardians, and school staff in his role as a full-time hybrid therapist.

Michael’s clinical work is primarily rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He also has experience in Play Therapy and Music Therapy and is committed to continuing to develop his proficiency in both approaches.
