Sarah Smith, PLPC

Sarah is a Provisionally Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist with a focus on School Counseling and Play Therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Central Methodist University and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Missouri Baptist University.

As a full-time hybrid therapist, Sarah provides counseling for adults, children, and families at the Union Office, Our Lady of Lourdes, and St. Francis Borgia Grade School. Her professional background includes work in schools, community programs supporting individuals with disabilities, social work, and early intervention services through First Steps.

Sarah integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Play Therapy to meet the unique needs of each client. She brings warmth and empathy to her work, building trusting relationships that support growth and resilience. She has particular experience supporting children with developmental delays and partnering with their families as they navigate new experiences together.

Sarah is passionate about walking alongside her clients and creating a safe, welcoming space where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered to be their authentic selves.
