Psychiatry Services

Saint Louis Counseling provides both Professional Counseling and Psychiatry services for children, teens and adults who are already in couseling services. In April 2021, we started a new partnership with ARCA to provide an enhanced approach to our clients’ mental-health needs, including diagnosis and medication management.

What does the partnership with ARCA mean for Saint Louis Counseling’s psychiatry patients?
ARCA has provided psychiatry services in the Midwest since 1969, from substance-use treatment to general psychiatry, which means that their experience with mental health is vast and experienced. In situations where it is determined that clients would benefit from counseling as well as medication, our therapists and ARCA can work collaboratively to provide the best care for our clients.

Saint Louis Counseling accepts most major insurance plans, which also are accepted by ARCA.

GENERAL PSYCHIATRY SERVICES: DIAGNOSIS & MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
Often with mental-health conditions, therapy alone can help people get back to feeling like themselves again. But sometimes a medical condition, like ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other mental illnesses require medication. ARCA’s medical professionals, diagnose mental-health conditions and prescribe and manage medications.
